- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, room temperature
- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 eggs
- 1/4 cup milk
- 3 1/2 cup flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon cream of tartar (optional)
- 2 1/2 tablespoons sugar
- 2 tablespoons ground cinnamon
Method:
- Cream the butter and sugar until fluffy.
- Add vanilla extract. Then beat in the eggs one-by-one.
- Sift flour, baking soda, and cream of tartar into a separate bowl and spoon into the butter mixture while alternating with the milk.
- Cover the batter and refrigerate for 10 minutes.
- Preheat the over to 375* F and grease two cookie sheets.
- Combine the sugar and cinnamon in a small container to create the coating.
- Roll the batter into walnut-sized balls and coat in the sugar and cinnamon coating.
- Place onto cookie sheet and bake for 10 minutes or until golden.
