Snickerdoodles!!

Snickerdoodles are a warm treat that everyone enjoys. However,
these cookies can be tricky to make because they vary quite
a bit depending on the cinnamon used and
the amount of time kept in the oven!

Ingredients:
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, room temperature
  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 3 1/2 cup flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon cream of tartar (optional)
  • 2 1/2 tablespoons sugar
  • 2 tablespoons ground cinnamon

Method:
  1. Cream the butter and sugar until fluffy.
  2. Add vanilla extract. Then beat in the eggs one-by-one.
  3. Sift flour, baking soda, and cream of tartar into a separate bowl and spoon into the butter mixture while alternating with the milk.
  4. Cover the batter and refrigerate for 10 minutes.
  5. Preheat the over to 375* F and grease two cookie sheets.
  6. Combine the sugar and cinnamon in a small container to create the coating.
  7. Roll the batter into walnut-sized balls and coat in the sugar and cinnamon coating.
  8. Place onto cookie sheet and bake for 10 minutes or until golden.
  9. Enjoy!

Brownies!!

These delicious brownies are easily one of the best
and simplest recipes I've ever used, and they're
perfect every time.

Ingredients:
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/3 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips (optional)

Method:
  1. Preheat the oven to 350* F. Grease and flour a 9x9 inch pan.
  2. Mix oil and sugar together very well.
  3. Add in eggs and vanilla; stir until just blended and set aside. (Be careful not to overstir as to avoid separation in the eggs and ruin the texture of your brownies!)
  4. Sift all the remaining dry ingredients in a separate bowl and stir into the wet mixture. Stir in your semi-sweet chocolate chips here if you are using them.
  5. Pour the brownie batter into your prepared pan and bake for 20 minutes.
  6. Enjoy!
